Crochet lace triangle shawl

Shawl and woman belong together. Shawls are giving an accent to any outfit. There are not enough shawls and scarfs in the woman’s garderobe.

This lace shawl is made with gray yarn with some sparkle accent. It is not too big, but you can crochet as many rows as you wish. 

For this size of shawl I used one skein of yarn.

Stitch Key: ch – chain, sc – single crochet, hdc – half double crochet, tr – treble( triple) crochet, yo – yarn over, slst – slip stitch, dc – double crochet

Treble crochet: yo twice, insert hook in the stitch, yo, pull through the stitch, yo, through 2 loops, yo, pull through 2 loops, yo, pull through last 2 loops.

The shawl is worked from the tip-up.

Materials: Red Heart, Roll with it sparkle, medium, 5 mm crochet hook, yarn needle scissors.

Instruction: ch 5, slst in first ch, make ring, ch 4

R1 – 4 tr inside the ring, ch 2, 5 tr inside the ring, ch4 turn

R2 – ch2, dc in the same stitch, ch 5, skip 4  ch, sc in ch 2 space, ch 5, dc in last st, ch 3, tr in the same st, ch 4 turn

R3 – 4 tr in ch3 space, ch 2, 4 in the same space, sc in the 5 ch space, ch 3, sc in the next 5 ch space, 4 tr in the ch 3 space, ch 2, 4 tr in the same space, tr in the last st, ch 4, turn.

R4 – ch 3, dc in the same st, ch 5, skip 4 ch,  sc in the ch 2 space, ch 5, skip 4 ch,  dc in the ch 3 space, ch 3, dc in the same space, ch 5, skip 4 ch, sc in the ch 2 space, ch 5, dc in the last st, ch 3, tr  in the same stitch, ch 4 turn

R5 – 4 tr in the ch 3 space, ch 2, 4 tr in the same space,sc in ch 5 space, ch 3, sc in the next 5 ch space, 4 tb in the ch 3 space, ch 2, 4 tr in the same space, sc in 5 ch space, ch 3, sc in the next 5 ch space, 4 tr in the ch 3 space, ch 2, 4 tr in the same space, 1 tr in the last st, ch 4 turn,

R6 – R36 – continue this way until you finish the row of chains.

Finishing

R37 – make sc in each stitch, 3 sc in 3 ch space, 5 sc in 5 ch space…

Fringes: cut some pieces of the yarn same length and place them evenly on the shawl.
