Crochet lace triangle shawl

Crochet lace triangle shawl

It is April and spring is here!  Days are longer and the weather warmer. The sun is more friendly and also the wind seems to blow mostly from the south.

It is the perfect time for some beautiful shawl to wear. Why not make this lovely wrap crocheted with a classic pattern which was very popular a while ago. And it looks like a lot of ladies still love it. Even it is crocheted with fine yarn, the bigger size of the hook makes the shawl grow so fast.

So let’s have some fun!

Stitch key: ch – chain, slst – slip stitch, sc – single crochet, dc – double crochet, sk – skip

Finishing

Make 51 rows in total.  You can make a shell pattern for the border or leave without it.  I decided to crochet a shell border for a finished look.

Shell border: ch 3 ( counts as dc), 2 dc inside the ch 1 space, sc in the next ch 1 space, *5 dc in the next ch 1 space, sc in the next ch 1 space*, repeat, 2 dc in the last ch 1 space, dc in the last st.

Now we finished our new spring lace shawl. Happy crocheting!
