Flower Granny Square Scarf

Do you like to add some original pieces to your wardrobe? What about the granny square scarf!

It is very simple and creative. Depends on how long you like your scarf to be. Crochet some granny squares and put them together. Mine scarf has 9 flower granny squares. I used 3 different colors for flowers. This way you can use all your scrap yarn.

Stitches used – Dc, slst, ch

Special stitch – Popcorn stitch

Notes – we are going to make granny squares first and after attaching them together.

Materials – medium yarn 4 different colors, crochet hook 5,5 mm, yarn needle, scissors.

For this scarf, we will need 9 flower granny squares. How to make these granny squares check my previous blog.

Put 2 squares facing the right side together and from the wrong side with slst crochet together. Attach all the squares in a line together.

When all the squares are attached, crochet 1 round of granny clusters around with black yarn – in ch1 space crochet *3 Dc, ch1* repeat, in the corner crochet – 3Dc  3ch, 3 Dc.

Cut some pieces of yarn, approx. 15″ long, fold 3 of them in half, and with a crochet hook attach the fringes to both sides of the scarf.

Now you have your lovely flower scarf finished! Happy crocheting!
