This lovely crochet hat with brim is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make and will ad extra something to your wardrobe.
You can ad also a crochet daisy or any flower your preference.
Stitches used: sc – single crochet, slst – slip stitch, mr – magic ring, st – stitch
Hat is worked from the top.
Materials: medium yarn , 5 mm crochet hook, scissors, yarn needle
Special stitch – Crab stitch
Crochet sc in reverse from left to right. (See video bellow.)
Instructions:
Make a magic ring.
R1 – 8 sc in the mr
R2 – 2 sc in each st (16 st)
Put stitch marker in the first st in each row because we will crochet continuously.
R3 – *2 sc, sc* repeat (24st)
R4 – *2sc, sc, sc* repeat, ( 32 st)
R5 – *2sc, sc, sc, sc, *repeat, ( 40st)
R6 – * 2sc, sc, sc, sc, sc, * repeat, (48 st)
R7 – * 2sc, sc, sc, sc, sc, sc, repeat, ( 56 st)
R8 – * 2sc, sc, sc, sc, sc, sc, sc, repeat, (64st)
R9 – * 2sc, sc, sc, sc, sc, sc, sc, sc, repeat ( 72 st)
R10 – R 26 – sc in each st (72 st)
Brim
R 27 – *2sc, sc, sc* repeat
R 28– sc in each st
R 29 – *2s, sc, sc, sc,* repeat
R 30 – R 34 – sc
Finishing – make a crab st in each stitch around.
